King represents government and public affairs clients at the federal, state & local level and works with PDG to provide bipartisan expertise to clients. From 2013-2019, King was a senior staffer in the Office of Congressman Mark Meadows. During his tenure, he served as Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Political Advisor. Simultaneously, he served as Senior Advisor for Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D. He currently has tremendous relationships within the halls of Congress and throughout the incoming Trump Administration.

Wayne has been an influential voice in North Carolina and national politics and government advocacy for many years. He is a former Vice-Chairman of the North Carolina Republican Party and under his leadership, helped the N.C. House of Representatives and N.C. State Senate retained super majorities. King was appointed by North Carolina State Senate President Pro Tempore Phil Berger to serve on the Cleveland Community College Board of Trustees. In July 2013, North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory appointed him to the Cleveland County Board of Elections and served as chairman until November 2018.

A native of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, King has appeared on CBS Evening News, CNN, NBC News, Fox News Channel, Newsmax, Roll Call, Politico, The Hill, the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, Breitbart News and many other local and national publications. He also serves as CEO and founder of King Realty Partners, LLC.
